K.C. Maxwell graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of
Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. Before law school,
K.C. obtained an MBA summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico. She
ranked first in her class and was named Outstanding MBA Graduate.
Following law school, K.C. served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable
Thomas A. Donnelly of the New Mexico Court of Appeals and for the Honorable
John Edwards Conway of the United States District Court for the District of
New Mexico.
K.C. began her practice at Freedman Boyd Daniels Hollander Goldberg & Cline
in Albuquerque, N.M. In 2000, she relocated to San Francisco, where she
handled sophisticated criminal and civil matters with O'Melveny & Myers,
Topel & Goodman, and Jones Day before forming her own firm in 2010.
